Baccalaureate Address of Yale Class 2007 [General]

I came across Yale President Levin's baccalaureate address for Yale class 2007. I think it's good article. I am suprised that he emphasized that much about China issues.

Yale Trip [General]

I spent the holiday weekend at Yale for friends' commencement and just came back home. I am exhausted but it's a wonderful trip to see so many friends. We shared quite a life at Yale and everyone is moving forward. I will post more pictures later.

Iron Chef Boston [General]

I went to Liyan's party for the Iron Chef Boston. It was so much fun. They are very serious and professional perparing and judging every dish. What I liked most was that besides the dishes for the judges, food they prepared for the audience is plenty. I had a lot! However to me, I don't think I have enough background to make a judgement but just taste all of them.

iTunes .M4P to .MP3 [General]

If you are downloading music from iTunes and having the same problem of converting the protected .m4p to .mp3 so that you can embed on to your website, here is my solution:

1. In the iTunes 'purchased' menu, check the music you need to convert. On the bottom there is 'burn' button. Burn the music to a CD - remember to check 'sound check' in the 'edit->preferences'.

2. Use a third party software to rip the CD to whatever format you need. The one I use is 'CD to MP3 Freeware 2.1' and you can download them for free. I have been using it for a while.

The only draw back is that you have to use a CD every time.

Music Button [General]

I add a button on the right-hand side panel to play some music. I have been trying to keep the website as plain as possible but still feel it would be nice to have some music playing - at least a choice. I will see if it's a good idea.
