Post Thanksgiving [General]

Hope you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving break! I was reading some stories of shopping on the black Friday - that's just horrible! Thanksgiving is usually my lowest point of efficiency. After I started working at Harvard, I worked on the last two Thanksgiving days. So this time, I decided to have a complete relaxation.

I have done some reading, writing the personal statement for the immigration document, having a photoshoot with Lili and Liangfang, and eating out. It's a nice holiday. Moreover, I am expecting Christmas and feel really excited.

Dive Fort Wetherill [    ]

I went to Fort Wetherill today and made a dive with Ed's class. I haven't done any diving since I came back from the trip of St. Lawrence Seaway. It's really cool to see so many old friends.

I have done lots of diving at Fort Wetherill. This is also the place I got certified. Today it is really cold - both topside and underwater. The visibility is not good - we have too many people.

This would be the only dive I can make before the Christmas trip.

Back From Salt Lake City [General]

Ling and I were trapped in Chicago for about 3 hours. It's almost 3am when I got home. But I still felt relieved after the very stressful conference. I'd take a breath and catch up the work soon.

It is because the job hunt that makes the meeting so stressful. It is very difficult to know what is right and what is not. The whole thing is basically a learning process. And at this moment, I don't know what is going happen. I guess I can only keep my finger crossed!

A Quick Tour In Salt Lake City [General]

Ling and I took a quick tour in Salt Lake City. It's a very beautiful city. The most interesting thing is that I saw the Seagulls Monument. You can basically read the story from my picture. I learned the story in middle school English text book. That's about 15 years ago. It's really amazing that one day I can really see it.
